Dear friends, Marc Cary pays tribute to long-standing musical influencer, the late Betty Carter. This concert puts together past musicians from Betty Carter's groups, and also places a spotlight on the future of the idiom with a group of musicians who came up in Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead program.
